NAOMI CAMPBELL: Diversity and Equality, 2018

Naomi Campbell receives the 2018 CFDA Fashion Awards in Partnership with Swarovski at Brooklyn Museum, New York. Naomi Campbell is a British model, actress, and businesswoman. One of the world's first real supermodels, 40 years on she still attains front-page status.

Discovered at the age of 15, she established herself amongst the most recognizable and in-demand models of the late 1980s, the 1990s, and the earlier 2000s including the modern-day. In this speech, she also quotes: "I was told many times that I couldn't do certain things because of the color of my skin, but I've never let that an excuse. I let it drive me. And of course, I'm human, and I found it hard at times not to take it personally, but I stand here today as a proud woman in front of you, of color, who I will continue to push for diversity and equality in this industry."
